Complaints
The following does not apply to most of you …
Rule #3 here … https://undiecar.hellyer.kiwi/rules/
If you don’t file a protest, yet still complain via radio, Discord or any other method, then you may be the one who gets punished. Protests can be filed at https://undiecar.hellyer.kiwi/protest/. As always, constructive comments are obviously helpful and encouraged.
Incidents in previous race
There were a number of incidents in our previous race at Daytona oval. We had a large number of new drivers at this event, which has contributed to an increased number of incidents. We will try to educate drivers who were causing problems during the event so that we have less troubles next time.
Three incidents were protested:
- Francisco Matias Molina Jur – minimum four race suspension for intentionally entering the path of traffic and pretending it was an accident during practice (review)
- Ivan Jovic – start from pitlane penalty at their next race, for jumping a restart on lap 35 (review)
- Steve Bunting – warning for not paying attention on lap 18 during caution period (review)
Please do not hesitate to file a protest if you see poor driving behaviour. Without your help we can’t stamp out these problems before they get out of hand. The administrators do not have time to comb through the whole race looking for incidents. Don’t worry about causing a severe punishment for something minor, as this is taken into account and if it’s suitably minor, the driver will simply be given assistance to avoid the problem occurring again in future. The goal of filing protests is to improve the racing, not necessarily to punish people.
Donations
There have been many requests for information on how to donate to the league. Donation is not required at all, but if you want to contribute something please check out our new donations page … undiecar.hellyer.kiwi/donate.
