Want to race the TCR? Then perhaps check out the Sunday Night HEAT events being organised by Andrew Bakke. The events feature three races with standing starts and a reversed grid to spice things up. The races will be held at Watkins Glen International Cup.
There is no need to pre-register and there is no password, you will find the session listed in the hosted races section of iRacing. Andrew reserves the right to prevent any troublemakers from future participation. It’s touring car sprint racing, but he doesn’t want anyone to be a bully or a jerk.
Event 1: Qualifying starts 18:00 GMT
Event 2: Qualifying starts 24:00 GMT
Event format:
Practice: 30 minutes, open while previous official race is running, noon lighting
Qualifying: 6 minutes, 2 laps, late-afternoon
Race 1: 10 minutes, morning
Race 2: 10 minutes, grid on Race 1 results, early-afternoon
Race 3: 15 minutes, partial invert* from Race 2 results, early-evening
*Inverting between 6 and 12 positions on the grid. Invert will be set randomly when the session is created by me.
