This is just a reminder that season 7 starts at 19:30 GMT today 🙂

This is a fairly crazy race to start the season, so any of you new folk, don’t go thinking this is our normal type of race 😉 The Radicals have a huge amount of grip and massive capacity to bump draft. In our test session last night, almost nobody could actually bump draft though, so please be very careful in trusting someone can maintain their position when pushing them or being pushed.

Apron usage
A question was raised last night regarding using the apron at Charlotte. This is explained via Rule 8.1.1.8 of the iRacing sporting code.

8.1.1.8. Drivers can only use the racing surface for Qualifying and Racing. The apron is not defined as racing surface. Drivers may not use the apron to gain an advantage in Qualifying or Racing.
